The characterization of leachate samples from Botarell’s Waste Treatment Center in Spain and the Ano-Liosia landfill in Anthens, Greece, has been carried out in the framework of the LIFE LEACHLESS project.
Furthermore, thanks to the collaboration agreement signed with URBASER, 15 samples more of leachate generated in different Spanish landfills and treatment centers are also being analyzed.
The results of these analysis will allow comparing the characteristics of these waste streams according to their origin, which will be of great help in the definition of the LEACHLESS pilot plant.
