Last week, representatives of the LIFE LEACHLESS project met at CARTIF facilities with María Bartolomé, from the SERTEGO group, to analyze possible collaboration paths in leachate management and recovery.

SERTEGO is one of the main operators in the industrial waste management sector, responsible for the treatment of more than 900,000 waste tons during 2015. The company is in charge of all phases of the management cycle, from collection and transport, until the development of industrial waste (both hazardous and non-hazardous) recovery, recycling, valorization, regeneration and disposal processes development.

The collaboration with SERTEGO could, in the future, promote the replication of leachate treatment technology developed under the LEACHLESS project.
