The 14th edition of the National Congress on the Environment, Conama 2018, was held in Madrid (Spain) from 26 to 29 November. It is a biennial meeting that, in the time since its first edition in 1992, has become the environmental event of reference in Spain for the quality and breadth of the contents discussed, the high level of participation and the variety of professional profiles and environmental sectors represented.
This year’s edition had more than 7,000 participants and a network of more than 450 collaborating institutions, including companies, administrations, universities, technology centres, etc. Conama is an essential event for environmental networking, the sharing of knowledge and experiences and the creation of collaborative networks between different actors working for sustainable development in Spain and Latin America.
LIFE LEACHLESS project staff attended the event and were able to network with other projects with similar and complementary issues and with participants interested in learning about their innovative solution for leachate treatment.
